Visit to Washington DC

Secretary General of the Flemish Department of Chancellery and Foreign Affairs Ms Julie Bynens and General Representative to the USA Mr Yves Wantens enjoyed a cordial and captivating visit to DC.
Ms Bynens and Mr Wantens had fruitful meetings with State Department Principal Assistant Secretary Kim, Department of Commerce Assistant Secretary Kendler and EU Delegation and Ambassador Régibeau. On September 11th they laid a wreath at the World War One memorial, reflecting and remembering those who sacrificed and lost their lives.
