On June 6th we commemorated World War I with our yearly Flanders memorial ceremony. This was accompanied by the Buglers from the Last Post Association of Ypres, who played the Last Post and Taps at the Doughboy Statue in NYC. The trip of the Last Post association continued to Gettysburg where we stopped by the Military Visitors center and the Gettysburg battlefield. The trip ended in Washington DC with a moving wreath ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at the Arlington Cemetery.
